I can fast longer if I start at certain times. What time do you prefer to start a dry fast, and why?

My biggest issue is the 8pm surge of ghrelin, so often I have my last bit of food around 6-8pm, then I’m good for 24 hours before any hunger.

However, lately I’ve been doing 24-hours of sipping water before a 3-5 day DF, which seems to help with any Day 1 bowel issues and really feel it slowly shuts down the GI tract rather than no liquid abruptly after a last meal.

So, I say ease into a DF with tapering off water for a day or so until you realize the water seems unnecessary.
