Why coffee is bad for fasting - even though so many people are addicted

Caffeinated coffee does not acutely affect energy intake, appetite, or inflammation but prevents serum cortisol concentrations from falling in healthy men

Like Yannicks recent post on cortisol - this got me thinking. If you’re dry fasting and takin gin coffee you’re causing extra stress. While that may not be a big deal the more i think about it, since the stress is already being induced on purpose, I start to see why coffee in general is not good because if it simply stops cortisol from falling, which gives the feeling that its giving you energy, then that’s really bad for chronic stress lol

Yes but coffee is also a great lipase activator and has anti aging properties as long as you mix NO CALORIES with it
